Annotations Architecture
In this project I have used four different photographic techniques-
In the photo below I have shown the use of low vantage point, to do this I got down below and got underneath the building and look up then took the photo.
In this photo I have acheived high contrast by leveling and turning the photo black and white.
This photo shows leading lines witch draws the viewer to points of interests in the photo.
This photo represent the rule of thirds, when the photo is disected into equal sections by dividing it into three horizontal and vertical lines.
Critical Links I have used-
David Carson- I used insipration from this designer as he overlaps text and the style of grunge that complements the urban architcture.
Bient + Herve- These photographers are famous for the work of black and white photographs of architeture with the use of contrast. by using influence from this I have achived the style there work is famous for.
Paula Scher- This designer uses bold colours prodominatly yellow and Blue also using bold black text. I have used influences from her style to make my text stand out in my designs.
Successful Designs
This design is inspired by David Carson, I have used elements such as overlapping text and making the background textured to create a grunge effect.
This design is inspired by Neville Brody ask he uses block colours and bold cut text, so I tried using elements from that in my design such as red bold blocks of colours and mixed typography in the design.
This is inspried by EL Lissitzky by using block colours and shapes I have tried to portray a design using these icon features that this designer uses and small text through out the design.
This Design is inspired by designer Paula Scher her work usually contains bold black typography and yellow background. I think this makes my Design stand out and works effectively with the metrolink map of Manchester.
